A satellite risk budget

Your monthly essential expenses are ₹1,00,000 and your investable wealth, after the emergency fund, is ₹40 lakh. You keep a six-month emergency fund, put 10% of investable wealth in a trading satellite and risk 0.5% of the satellite per trade. (a) Size the emergency fund, the satellite and the rupee risk per trade. (b) A setup has entry ₹840 and stop ₹806.40. How many shares do you buy, and what is the position's value? (c) Your rule is to stop trading if the satellite falls 25% from its start. How many consecutive full losses trigger the rule if risk per trade is (i) a fixed ₹ amount equal to 0.5% of the starting satellite, (ii) 0.5% of the current satellite?
